KEY INGREDIENTS:

Apricot Kernel Oil 

As its name suggests, apricot kernel oil is produced from the kernel or pit of an apricot. When topically applied, the emollient properties of this fast-absorbing oil help to exfoliate & moisturize the skin, eliminating patches of dryness & retaining moisture deep within the skin’s layers. Packed with antioxidants, apricot kernel oil is able to relieve oxidative stress in the skin. This is good news for anyone suffering from fine lines & wrinkles. These powerful antioxidants also help to firm & tone the skin, reduce age spots & prevent cellular mutation, which may lead to skin cancer. 

Geranium 

Geranium has been used since ancient Egypt to beautify the skin due to its antibacterial & anti-inflammatory properties. This delightfully floral essential oil is especially beneficial for its treatment of fine lines, wrinkles & replenishing dry skin. Geranium also contains essential fatty acids which promote healthy skin cells, tone & support lasting beauty.

Helichrysum 

Helichrysum is the Latin name for a Mediterranean flowering plant also known as “immortal” or “everlasting”. This name is quite appropriate because this oil has cellular regenerating properties which builds healthy, happy skin cells. Helichrysum is also antimicrobial, antibiotic & anti-inflammatory. This oil has the ability to speed up the healing of wounds, burns & rashes & also has been known to reduce scarring & prevent skin infections. Additionally, helichrysum supports skin vitality, helping to reduce age spots, even skin tone & texture, firm the skin & reduce the appearance of fine lines. Lastly, its emollient properties help to keep the skin perfectly hydrated & glowing.

Rosehip Seed Oil 

Rosehip oil is harvested from the seeds of rose bushes. It contains vitamin A, vitamin C & antioxidants which help reverse signs of aging while also boosting collagen production & improving skin elasticity. Rosehip's benefits do not stop there! This pure Bulgarian rose essential oil is steam distilled, using thousands of petals per ounce of oil, making it a precious, luxurious experience for your senses & your skin. Pure rose can prevent blemish causing bacteria while minimizing the pores. Lavender

Our steam distilled lavender is wild-crafted in the higher altitudes of France where the finest lavender flowers are naturally grown. This essential oil protects from free radical damage, supplies soothing moisture & gives you a dose of beta-caryophyllene to help reduce inflammation. Its antibacterial properties can help prevent blemishes & soothe current breakouts. For the eyes, lavender acts as a gentle antibacterial wash, providing added moisture & soothing redness, also known as excess pitta dosha.

Pumpkin Seed Oil 

Pumpkin seed oil is rich in vitamin E, zinc, omega 3- & 6- fatty acids, as well as antioxidants; thus, it improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture, fight free radicals & maintain a youthful appearance & texture. The many beneficial components of this oil also help to improve skin tone, reduce inflammation, stimulate new cell growth, defend against infections, fight acne, rapidly heal wounds & reverse oxidative stress within the skin cells while reducing the appearance of aging. 

Hemp Seed Oil 

Hemp seed oil, otherwise known as “hemp oil”, is different from cannabidiol oil (CBD) as it is made from the hemp seed & not the flower or leaves. Hemp oil has numerous health benefits including those that support the skin both internally & topically. Used topically, hemp seed oil has a moisturizing effect that will not clog your pores. It is also able to balance oily skin by regulating its natural sebum production, helping to prevent any acne flare-ups caused by excess oil. Hemp oil contains the omega- 6 fatty acid, gamma-linolenic acid, which acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory encouraging new skin growth & cell regeneration. As if this oil didn’t already seem to have it all, hemp seed oil also contains anti-aging properties, which help to reduce fine lines & wrinkles. 

Sandalwood 

Our Sandalwood is sustainably grown in Northern Queensland, Australia, where the essential oil is made from the roots of mature sandalwood trees. Due to its mild astringent action & anti-inflammatory properties, this essential oil can help to diminish the appearance of skin imperfections, promoting a healthy, smooth complexion. Sandalwood is also high in antioxidants, reducing damage caused by free radicals, which in turn helps to prevent signs of aging. Sandalwood is so highly beneficial to the skin that it may even be able to help fight skin cancer! A study found that α-santalol, a compound found in sandalwood, can help promote the death of cancerous cells.

Tea Tree 

Tea tree essential oil is commonly used to heal & treat acne, as it is antimicrobial & one of nature’s top inflammation inhibitors. Research has shown tea tree to be just as effective, if not more, than benzoyl peroxide, which is commonly used in anti-acne medication.
